Cove Civil has completed a stormwater drainage project (subcontracting to WM Construction) for the Kaipara District Council at the Rangiora Road boat ramp. The project consisted of installing 450mm and 300mm concrete pipes at depths of up to 3m, 1050 diameter manholes, concrete wingwalls and inlet structures. The boat ramp had to be closed while this work was completed however access to the local property owners was maintained at all times. A trench sheild was used for the deeper sections of the installation to ensure all works were completed safely.
